Waldschanke Zoo Berlin in Berlin

I am pleased that the Waldschänke will be managed by Marché Mövenpick from January 2021. There will be tasty little things, and as soon as the upswing comes, the range will be enlarged, refined and freshened;) Food Lovers .....

As usually in these places all you can get is deep fried food. The staff wasn't very attentive or motivated. It is overpriced and functional. Pack your lunch and you will be fine.

For Berlin it's definitely overpriced and not the finest quality food. But then again, it's more of a canteen than a restaurant and you shouldn't expect too much. I'd suggest you just have a drink or a coffee... or a plate of french fries, if you really must bridge before your next proper meal. The nearby playground is fabulous!

There is a decent selection of drinks and food but the prices are very high. We didn't eat anything there.

Eating and drinking in the zoo has never been cheap, but tasty, you won't be disappointed when you get a standard like french fries and nuggets as well as currywurst.

There are two restaurants in Berlin Zoo. Two years ago I ate spaetzle here, they were very good. 😊 There are toilets here too.

Long snake. French fries don't taste good. A menu, sausage and french fries for about 10 euros - too expensive. Service doesn't understand a word and asks everything 3 times, but nice.

Taking 10.50 for a couple of cardboard fries and a ready-made schnitzel out of the frying pan is just cheeky. Never again. You mess me up all day with your nasty food Fra

The food is really inedible and far too expensive for the quality. The staff is unmotivated and unfriendly. We were bullied on our last visit because we accidentally (like before Corona times) used the back entrance.

Frozen schnitzel with fries € 10.50. Seasoned diluted Berliner Kindl 0.5 from the carbonated keg for € 4.50. Food on cardboard and beer in a plastic cup. In short the food was bad, the beer too. The choice of food is a joke. You can get better food at a gas station. Seating is limited. I recommend everyone to bring their own food. The staff totally overwhelmed. (I would give 0 stars, unfortunately this is not possible.) Never again.

Prices are not necessarily reasonable, even for the zoo. We don't even talk about quality at all and the staff is still completely overwhelmed, even though it's just a simple canteen version. Too bad that even with corona measures would go more.

Why can you actually give a star? It's too much. Too expensive. It does not taste good. Small portions and staff rude. Never again

Well, for a restaurant inside a zoo garden is ok, not very cheap not very expensive. It is convenient that it's placed near a playground.

Food tastes good but too expensive.. literally you can get better and half price the second you step out of the zoo

In such a big zoo in such a huge city like Berlin it's ridiculous to have opening hours just on weekends. Like humans don't eat on week days.

Convenient location. Near the playground. Prices are above average, although if you are at the zoo with children, then this is a good option to eat. The staff understands German, English and a little Russian. Payment in cash and by card.

A regular cafe, conveniently located (the zoo has a separate restaurant, much larger), next to - a wonderful playground. A normal place to have a snack while visiting the zoo. Caution: local Currywurst is a bit spicy, strong spices can be seen in the cut. I personally like it, but I do not advise people with a sick stomach.
